Abstract

E-commerce is currently widely recognized as an essential part of the business landscape. It is a widely used modality that has gained even more prominence due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to identify the motivators of online consumption, via B2C e-commerce, during the Covid-19 pandemic. The methodology used was descriptive, with a quantitative approach. The chosen research method for this study was data collection through surveys, and the research population consisted of consumers of e-commerce. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire administered through Google Forms. The survey was conducted with 595 people, reached through various social media platforms. The results identified convenience, product variety, suppliers, and practicality as advantages of using e-commerce. According to the findings, it was observed that respondents were already using e-commerce before the Covid-19 pandemic, but improvements in purchasing platforms, logistics, and increased product variety and suppliers have become motivating factors for online purc
