Abstract

It´s observed that, currently there´s a quarrel about the need of change of people role in organizations, especially on the part of the professionals of management of people. In "modern management of people" the individuals aren´t seen as "resource" or patrimony “of the organization, but as "partner" or "co-worker" in the reach of the organization results. The study was characterized as exploratory and descriptive, being predominantly qualitative. The new contexts of the organizations allow demonstrating that the professionals of human resources perceive its area as of strategical relevance for all the organizational functioning, to the measure that deals with the internal questions and consuming customers. However, they had also showed that this strategical paper still is little recognized for the managers of the organizations, even being public or private ones.
