This article aims to study the interactions of children and teenagers who use social networks with the world around them, and what are the consequences of this use in the formation of their identity. It seeks to analyze the overexposure of the intimate life of children and adolescents and the risks of contact with inappropriate content, which hurts their prerogative of best interest, as well as exposure to different sectors of society that were previously unknown. Also noteworthy is the preservation of intimate life as a necessary precaution to avoid contact with possible aggressors, suffering from cyberbullying and fears of non-social inclusion as a way to attend to the prerogatives and fundamental rights of minors, as is the case with right to full development. The methodology used consisted of the documentary research technique, consulting bibliographic material on the subject, as well as direct, systematic and non-participatory observation of social networks.
