Abstract

This article, on the observation of the current escalation of violence in the social environment and the search for a new approach and practice of public security policy, aims to analyze the Community Council of Public Security as a communication channel with the Military Police under the aspect of community Policing which is based on joint work with the police community to leverage solutions with respect to crimes, violence and poor living in the local environment. The distance between the police and secular society is revealed in little exploration of the Community Council of Public Security as a means of exercising citizenship with regard to public safety, under the aspect of a shy dialogue also between the community and the Military Police.
