Abstract

In order to unravel the mysteries of cognitive computing in the legal sphere, this article aims to understand the methods of Artificial Intelligence applied in Law, addressing the procedures of robotics, the innovations brought by its technologies, and what are the advantages of using Artificial Intelligence in courts and law firms. The core of this research is to understand how the technologies of artificial intelligence can be effective for the Law, and what are the challenges of the legal profession in this fully automated environment, awakening a critical view of the professionals regarding the new era that is installed in the legal scope, called of Law 4.0.
