Application of improvement tools quality in a case study

The objective of this article is to optimize the processes based on the use of quality ma nagement, analyzing their application, and to carry out a case study at the company Pleasant Air S / A created in the Simulation of Strategy and Sustainability Simulation (SES) discipline of Business Games I of the Business Administration course of the Faculty of Minas Gerais (FAMIG). Specifi cally, among the various tools and methodologies of Quality Management, such as Brainstorming, Cause and Effect Diagram, PDCA, GUT, Pareto Diagram and BSC were used to identify and solve the main production problems using an effective plan of action to control or eliminate the potential causes of problems. With the analysis of the graphs and tables developed, it was verified that the results obtained were relevant, surpassing that expected, achieving a better continuous control of the process, allowing better quality, elimination of losses, elimination of causes of losses and “optimization” of processes. During the evolution of the case study the significant changes in the company were verified, from a better control of the production.
