through the scrum method and its influences on the efficiency and productivity of a technology company applied in the usability of the product

The current market faces several challenges, from intense competition to frequent changes regarding the business environment and increasingly complex customer demands, requiring companies to constantly innovate and improve their processes. In this context, agile methodologies emerge as an effective response, allowing organizations to optimize their processes, promote flexibility and autonomy, collaboration and value delivery. Therefore, this article aims to identify whether the agile methodology, through the Scrum method, influences the efficiency and productivity of a technology company in Itabira/MG. In order to achieve this goal, quantitative methodology and the descriptive research method were used. The universe is a technology company sited in Itabira/MG, where a census was carried out with all 26 employees who make up the product usability team of the company analyzed. Data collection and analysis were carried out through a survey using descriptive statistics. It was noted that the agile methodology is relevant for business development. In the first ranking of the research, it was possible to identify the main motivators for using the agile methodology, with an average of 61.53% of respondents completely agreeing with the efficiency of the method as one of the main motivators. The contributions of the agile methodology were identified, with 48.71% agreeing that the method is effective through the use of Scrum. Finally, in the third research ranking, around 51.54% completely agree that, through the Scrum method, it is possible to identify productivity by means of the agile methodology. Thus, we were able to highlight the importance of adopting agile practices in the organizational environment so that market challenges can be faced, through their influence and productivity efficiency.
