Abstract

The present work aims to present the need to make a specific law for the application of the principle of insignificance in Military Law, in order to end the divergences of application of the principle in the Courts, as well as to present the possibility of applying the principle in the course of of the Military Police Inquiry, envisioning the full effectiveness of the application of the principle highlighted and the procedural economy. For that, the bibliographic methodology was chosen, especially through doctrinal and jurisprudence, considering that the lack of normalization of the principle of insignificance would mean the full applicability of the Institute, as well as the wide execution of the Military Judiciary Police during the analysis of material typicality. present in a military crime, with regard to its significance or insignificance for Military Justice.
