Abstract

This article aims to analyze and present the legislation that deals with civil liability for environmental damages, identify polluting agents and the most common environmental damages, examine preventive and reparatory measures available for environmental protection, and contribute to the debate on the importance of civil liability for environmental damages and to raise awareness in society about the need for environmental preservation. The methodology used in this study consists of bibliographic and documentary research, covering various sources such as books, scientific articles, laws, case law, and specific cases. The ultimate goal is to ensure a sustainable future for present and future generations.
