The legal effects of socio-affective recognition after separation or divorce

Abstract

This work addresses the evolution of Family Law, along with society's need for new norms and laws that can solve disputes that did not exist before but which today, resulting from the evolution of society and Family Law, end up becoming an indispensable master in the daily lives of Brazilians. Socioaffective Recognition is new to the Brazilian Civil Code, but has already generated a lot of repercussions. Socioaffective Recognition has been bringing rights and obligations even though these could previously be unlikely to be pending matters to be discussed. Matters such as custody, pension and inventory are the targets of this article in which it brings the consequences of Socio Affective Recognition, along with its irrevocability.
