Abstract

This present work aims to analyze the Multidoor Courthouse System, that represents adequate means to peacefully solve conflicts. Besides giving its definition, in this thesis were studied the historical synthesis of the system, its legal grounds and the benefits of applying each door of said System: Arbitration, mediation, conciliation, and adjudication. The importance of each of those doors to the de-judicialization of the studied conflicts was highlighted, quoting many known authors and legal references amongst the academia. Lastly, this study brings as conclusion the importance of the Multidoor Courthouse System in the Brazilian legal system, given its speed and efficiency in problem-solving conflicts, contributing to fight the slowness and insufficiency of the judicial branch due to its large demand of lawsuits. The methodology applied in this work was the bibliographic review, as several sources were used as references such as: current legislation, books, legal magazines and legal articles, these bibliographic materials made this work possible.
