Abstract

With the emergence of the COVID-19 virus, and the evolution of the disease into a pandemic, many actions were taken to stop the contagion. Among these, the Home Office work model was widely adopted as a way to ensure social isolation. Although in Brazil there were already laws that addressed the issue (Labor Reform in 2011), there are still several gaps about specific situations of home office work, especially when it comes to occupational health and accidents at work. The present work aims to approach the recently approved legislation and analyze them according to the jurisprudential understandings regarding accidents and occupational diseases in the Home Office.
