Abstract

Due to the huge number of lawsuits that come to the judiciary, our system has been facing tribulation for the time it takes to process the cases and the cost spent by the public authorities on the judicial machinery annually. The Judiciary Branch became alert to seek mechanisms to obtain a quick and economical Justice, since a large part of the proceedings in process belong to a small portion of litigants. Because of these circumstances, many people are deprived of access to effective and quality justice, despite having their fundamental guarantees guaranteed in the Constitution. The present work aims to propose a solution so that the structural problems of Brazilian justice, which occur through technology, with the use of Artificial Intelligence in the decision process of low complexity cases, through the development of Support Systems for Decision. The judiciary stagnated in the third Industrial Revolution, not keeping up with the speed and breadth of current innovations that imply the rupture to a Fourth Industrial Revolution. Information technology, via Artificial Intelligence - AI, presents an important path that transforms this reality. Many are the countries that use AI in the litigious daily life, and its uses are several, in order to have an efficient jurisdictional provision.
