This work will be based on the deductive method, with bibliographic and descriptive research to study and correlate what has been published regarding the processes of rectifying the area of rural properties, as well as addressing the requirements regarding the georeferencing of properties and their certification, reviewing and analyzing the contents with the aim of mirroring the efforts of professionals who operate in the field of engineering and in the field of law with real estate records, aiming to minimize rejections of area rectification and georeferencing processes before the property registry.
