This work aims to clarify what topography is and what its benefit is for a civil construction project, based on topographic survey in the field. It discusses its features, necessary equipment and professional qualifications, in addition to showing which documents are necessary to carry out the services. It seeks to clarify that this method is better and more reliable than the manual method, bringing more quality and savings to the work, including for marking plateaus, columns, footings and grade beam.
