Abstract

Currently considered as an important concept to be studied, evaluated and practiced by organizations, sustainability is gaining more space in major strategic meetings of the companies that intend to continue operating competitively in the market. In this scenario, full of alternatives, where consumers increasingly demanding and knowledgeable of the history of organizations whose products it consumes, that several areas of the company are turning their gaze to the sustainability issues in order to promote internal actions that allow the organization to achieve ever higher levels. This article represents a small share of contribution to the analyzes that are being studied by several authors who seek to specifically address these issues, under the gaze of the new role of Human Resources and its new role within the organization, implementing actions and providing subsidies for managers and employees have the knowledge necessary to achieve organizational goals acting sustainably. The article shows that the Human Resources not only has a strategic role in the organization with the exclusive focus on providing subsidies for the achievement of goals and objectives, but must also fulfill a social role, where the interaction with the various actors who are and impact the company will provide not only the competitive advantage of organizations, but keep them in the market.
