Application of time management processes in the development of a mechanism to assist the routine management of a department belonging to a civil construction company

This assignment sought to show how the application of project time management pro cesses helped the routine management of a department belonging to a construction company. The goal was to portray, step by step, the development of a mechanism, built on time management processes, and how he became the daily management most agile, clear, objective, transparent and successful. The research method used was a case study based on the own author’s experience, re sponsible to development and implementation of mechanism, and interpretation of data obtained over a year of functioning. After analyzing the reports and figures, it is noticed that the mechanism provided a management based on the facts and data providing a better basis for strategic decisions. The mechanism, called Rede de Relacionamentos, contributed to reduce the number of activities not performed of 39,68% to 9,7%, after one year of implementation. This reduce is not only de ployment the Rede de Relacionamentos, but the measurement index drove improvement actions that impacted this decrease. We just are able to management and take actions on what we measure, in other words, on what we knows. The operation of Rede de Relacionamentos generated results for the department and became benchmark for others. The applicability of Rede de Relacionamen tos is extensive and can be used in various departments that need become better your plan and routine management.
