Abstract

This bibliographical research discusses the need to better understand the retail market. The study rescues ratings retailers and the importance of retailing in the Brazilian financial economic scenario. We seek to understand the attributes of retail system as a marketing activity, depending on the relevance of national distribution channels. In this analysis, the evolution of retail in time, focusing on the past and present of this matter, in addition to point the retail future trends. Were also listed the major benefits offered by retailers, in addition to discriminate the various limitations of the Brazilian retail.
