Abstract

Being financially educated is a key point for personal development, the decisions making with this educational foundation are carried out with greater lucidity, a fact that brings citizens closer to their personal goals. The theme originates due to an expectation that students who deal with financial issues had greater familiarity with money control, the validation of this knowledge is essential for their good practices to be replicated in other areas of knowledge, corroborating for socioeconomic progress from the country. The main objective of this work is to identify the retention that Business Administration students at an HEI have with financial administration income. The research used a quantitative approach as a methodology, whose universe was adopted by students enrolled in a higher education course in Administration at an HEI, who answered a question made available by the researcher through digital media. The instrument available for the collection of data from the work was tested, applied via the Google Forms platform and which involves 42 respondents. After analyzing the results, it was concluded that the research participants are engaged with the theme, it is clear the memories with the financial management budgets presented throughout the research, whether in the science of those taught about financial tools, notion of the importance in reserve values and control the money as a whole. In addition, the value attributed by respondents to financial balance is visualized, since, even if authorized gradually, it is a path that brings them closer to personal fulfillment.
