Abstract

The current economic scenario presents a change in the profile of young people from Minas Gerais in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte, when options for higher education. This change may be related to the recent Coronavirus pandemic experienced worldwide, which led the vast majority of students to adapt to remote training. Today this student prefers face-to-face training or the two years of social seclusion made this young man more adaptable to remote teaching and the technological benefits that the pandemic has brought. In addition to this option for face-to-face or distance training, what is the current profile of the higher education student, gender, age group and, especially if this profile seeks a faster, more comprehensive and short-term training or if the preference is for courses with payment terms of four and/or five years.
