Abstract

This study aimed to present the importance of personal finance as a tool for control of personal patrimony. The development of the proposed objective requires a deepening of the main characteristics of personal finance, explored based on the literature relevant to the topic and resulted in a survey with 24 samples. This research was carried out through a questionnaire, of which was later compared to the study carried out by the National Confederation of Commerce of Goods, Services and Tourism of Brazil in the year of 2021 with the objective of studying the fidelity of the scale. Through the test carried out, it was concluded that people who use some method of financial planning find it easier to avoid indebtedness. The study also allowed us to conclude that individuals who effectively apply the concepts of personal finance in the management of their.
