The present work aims to analyze Brazilian resocialization and the challenges of reintegrating graduates into the job market. The research will address the numerous challenges faced by ex-prisoners from the Brazilian prison system, such as access to the job market, social stigma and discrimination faced by former inmates. In this sense, the resocialization of those released from the prison system will be demonstrated from different perspectives, highlighting the importance of joint support between the State and society. The aim of the study is to bring understanding of the need for strategies that can offer graduates a true opportunity for a fresh start, integrating them in a fair and dignified way into social life. Thus, the study stands out at the level of national interest, since the performance of resocialization policies generates an impact for everyone in society. Furthermore, the importance of more proactive engagement on the part of society and the family of the convicted individual will also be highlighted, providing support and opportunities for those seeking a new beginning. The methodology adopted was the hypothetical-deductive method, using as the main research technique the survey of theoretical references through documentary analysis in printed books, scientific articles and electronic magazines, in addition to the analysis of Constitutional and Infraconstitutional legislation involving the topic.
