Abstract

Road Cargo Transport (TRC) in Brazil was responsible for the flow of 485.625 million tons per useful kilometer, employing more than one and a half million people in 2016, however, being an activity of great importance for the country's development, there is numerous challenges that need to be overcome, such as the lack of inspection, structural deficiencies, unsafe roads, high costs, an aging fleet, emission of polluting gases and excessive speed, which also become risk situations for accidents (CNT, 2019). It is also worth highlighting the lack of safety on Brazilian highways due to the failure to correct essential problems such as the paving of these highways, which often present serious problems in their structure that hinder the transport of cargo and vehicles. small size. This problem would be successfully resolved if intense paving work were carried out using the type that best suits the needs of highways, that is, flexible or concrete pavement (PEREIRA, 2019). Therefore, it is interesting that the company has a consistent paving project that can meet the needs of drivers, considering important points such as the number of vehicles, the weight of the loads that are transported and others so that the work can present a work that meet the needs of the population traveling on federal and state highways across the country (SANTOS, 2019).
