Abstract

The article shows that selective waste collection is possible and that, in addition to respecting the maintenance of the environment, it is financially viable, as it will transform waste into merchandise. It will show which materials can be recycled, those that cannot, what to do with the waste (materials that cannot be recycled), it will talk about the example of recycling that worked in Brazil, it will demonstrate that selective collection enforces what is required by law. federal constitution and that a partnership with an association of recyclable material collectors, in addition to removing the pecuniary burden from the government and the population, will promote the basic principle of the constitution ''dignity of the human person'' to the collectors, finally, it will demonstrate that Brazil plays money literally out.
