Evaluation of the effectiveness of Orofacial Harmonization on facial aesthetics and patients' quality of life

This study addresses the topic of Orofacial Harmonization in order to evaluate its effectiveness in improving facial beauty and the patient's quality of life. The present was based on scientific research and used hypothetical deduction methods to formulate and test hypotheses. A systematic review of the literature was carried out to explore the most common procedures and their impact on the patient's quality of life, compare the techniques and materials used and guide professionals interested in the practice of Orofacial Harmonization. The study is divided into four chapters, addressing the concept and importance of orofacial harmonization, the use of botulinum toxin, the most common procedures such as facial filling with hyaluronic acid, support threads and bichectomy, in addition to the influence of these procedures on self-esteem, quality patients' lives and the risks involved. Orofacial harmony is considered an essential technique in dentistry, resulting in aesthetic and functional improvements. The aim of this study is to highlight the importance and impact of this approach on patients' lives.
