Abstract

This study investigated the impacts of animal rights on contemporary society, culminating in the proposal for the creation of a new specialized legal code. By tracing the historical evolution of animal rights, the research highlighted a paradigmatic shift in the perception of these beings, from mere objects to entities endowed with specific rights.
