This article aims to demonstrate the different means of judicial summons, highlighting the changes that have occurred over the decades and the challenges faced in the current context. This analysis takes into account technological advances and the digital era we are currently facing, reinforcing the need to modernize the judiciary. Existing forms of citation will be highlighted, demonstrating the need to adapt legal procedures to current conditions, seeking efficiency, agility, procedural economy and accessibility for everyone involved in the judicial system. With the aim of improving this procedure, technological resources are envisioned, proposing methods such as the use of messaging applications and the creation of a judicial system to make citation faster and more agile.
