The integration of municipalities into the national transit system as an instrument to implement the principle of efficiency in public administration

The present scientific work has as main point the study of the procedure of integration of the Municipalities to the National Transit System - SNT and how this reflects in the greater efficiency of the Municipality in the administration of the demands and local interests related to the transit. Thus, the work will address how transit is treated in national legislation, presenting what is the SNT, its objectives and members, in addition to punctuating the area of operation of each component. It will also be addressed, in a focused way, which are the competences of the Municipality established in the Brazilian Traffic Code, explaining what is the municipalization of traffic and its advantages. It also seeks to analyze how the administrative procedure for integrating the Municipality into the SNT occurs, detailing the structure imposed on the municipal entity so that it can effectively integrate. Finally, efficiency will be treated as a principle of public administration, in addition to explaining how the integration with the SNT allows the Municipality to carry out local traffic management as greater efficiency, presenting practical aspects. In addition, this work was developed using the hypothetical-deductive method, working with theoretical references, especially bibliographic research, with the objective of contributing to deepen the discussion on the subject.
