Abstract

This article presents an examination of autism and its consequent specificities within society and the Brazilian government, with a focus on the health area. The objective of this article is to demonstrate the economic insufficiency experienced by families with ASD, to inform society, aiming to raise everyone's awareness about the daily life faced by autistic people and their families, to problematize the shortage of professionals specialized in the various. specificities of ASD treatment areas, compare what is foreseen in Brazilian legislation, regarding the rights and benefits legitimized to autistic people in disparity with what is offered in practice, promoting the appreciation of treatments. To this end, criticisms and notes were made based on comparative numbers, in order to expose the impacts that the precariousness of execution and structuring has on the person with ASD.
