Abstract

This following article aims to address in an objective and concise way about: "International trafficking in women: international mechanisms for victim protection and prevention". In that regard, the offense aspects will be analyzed, mentioning its historic, definition and constitutional elements of which the trafficking of women runs through. Through the course of this article, the enticers' elemental aspects and methods are going to be covered and, as well, the woman as protagonist in this crime. In addition, protection measurements and the ramifications presents on the Brazilian and international legislation, will be analyzed for the fight against human trafficking. The method used for the elaboration of this article is bibliographical, that consists of exposing the thoughts of different authors who wrote about this subject, consulting books, articles, doctrines, the Federal Constitution enacted in 1988, and others. The expected result is society awareness, specially women, about how this crime happens and to explain legal aspects that will help the international trafficking of women prevention.
