The present article is dedicated to the analysis of the importance of the right even in basic education, as a mechanism for effective access to justice and prevention of social conflicts. The research was carried out by the inductive method, through the study of bibliography related to the theme, from several authors. The study verified the situation of consumer rights in Brazil, the intersection between the teaching of law and the training of students in basic education, as well as the need for access by the population, even in the final years of reaching adulthood, as a way of of conflict prevention and education of the population about the rights related to consumer relations. The study of consumer rights by basic education students can prove to be an important mechanism for accessing justice and preventing consumerist conflicts, which is what this study intends to demonstrate.
