Direct and semidirect restorations in composite resin
factors related to materials and operating techniques
Keywords:
composite resin, photoactivation, restoration, composite, dentistryAbstract
Composite resins are undoubtedly on the list of the most used materials in dental offices. However, even though it is a widely used restorative material and there are many studies on it, in various aspects, many dentists do not know how to indicate the different ways of using the restorative material and, sometimes, they are also unaware of other techniques besides of direct restoration. Thus, through this literature review, this article aims to corroborate the dentist's understanding of the various restorative techniques made with composite resin, as well as to discuss the types of resin compounds and the means of photoactivation.
