Abstract

The performance of periodontal plastic surgery, also known as gingivectomy, associated with the use of composite resin, makes it possible to obtain a more balanced and harmonious smile. The objective of this work is to present a clinical case report of aesthetic reanatomization in anterior teeth in a female patient, 24 years old, who came to the office dissatisfied with her smile. On clinical examination, the patient presented with irregularities in the gingival contour, short clinical crowns on the anterior teeth and proclination of tooth 22. Then, gingivectomy was performed with a high-power laser and, to assist in the healing process, a low-power laser was used, bleaching was also carried out using the mixed technique, whiteness 35% FGM being used in the office and whiteness 10% FGM indicated for home use, and finally, reanatomization was carried out in facets of nanoparticulate composite resin from canine to canine using the technique incremental, ensuring a satisfactory result for the patient.
