To substantiate the theme of this study, some rules relevant to the area of Occupational Safety and Medicine were analyzed, as well as how to apply them if the work environment involves tasks in places with different floors, that is, involving scaffolding. The results showed that the best way to avoid accidents is, in principle, to signal the places under the risk(s) of falling, to make workers aware of the reason for using PPE provided by the company, and to monitor compliance than the company establishes in areas of prevention.
