Abstract

This work presents a study that was carried out at a construction site, where workers from the Civil Construction Area (ACC) were engaged in renovating the structure and part of the masonry of a residence located in Belo Horizonte/MG. To carry out this case study, two procedures were adopted: in the first, topics relevant to the research were searched in books and on websites specialized in ACC subjects, and as a second procedure, to consolidate the theoretical part, face-to-face visits were carried out at the construction site. Constructions. In order to interview and obtain more consistent data and information, the person responsible for the renovation (ANNEX A) participated in the events, according to his/her availability to coordinate, inform and indicate the anomalies that were observed and photographed. As a result, it was concluded that it is important to verify if the recommendations established in architectural design are actually implemented to avoid the occurrence of anomalies at any time.
