The peripheral giant cell lesion is defined as a benign disease, with uncertain etiopathogenesis and one of the most common lesions in the oral cavity. The correct diagnosis and adequate treatment will culminate in good results. The objective of the present study is to carry out a clinical case report of a male patient, 17 years old, with the presence of an inflammatory hyperplastic lesion, located from the distal of tooth 35 to the mesial of tooth 37, in gingival tissue, which was submitted to the incisional biopsy.
