This article aims to analyze the production process of assembly “line five” of the company ASK do Brasil, in order to propo se improvements that will reduce waste and costs inherent in the process. For this purpose, the following specific objectives were established: a) to verify the workflow in the line; b) analyze the movement of people and materials; c) to evaluate the production times; and d) analyze the produc tion methods in the line. The study can be classified, as to nature, as an applied research, and as to the objectives, as a descriptive research.
