The hypertext entrance in portuguese language teaching

This article aims to reflect about the hypertext entry in teaching Portuguese, observing how the reading and writing practices should be rethought to contemplate the hypertext aspects such as their presentation (pages, windows , tabs, links, etc.); nonlinearity won by navigation between hypertext; the use of multimodal language (sound, image, video, etc.), among others. Remember, we are all surrounded by hypertext inside and outside the Internet, which allows the interactivity and choice to start reading for any of the texts that make up the web of information and it is the reader who decides how how to walk this path, realizing new roads and expanding the limits of their reading. In this aspect, the text is not only a paper printout and is configured as a multitude of readings and possible written. It is therefore the educational institutions of contempo rary society contemplate hypertext in their curricula in order to train their apprentices to participate in the discursive practices in virtual space.
