Autonomous branch? an approach epistemological

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to analyze whether the so called sports law can be
considered an autonomous branch of law or whether it should be understood as a legal microsystem.
This paper presents the discussion about the scientific nature of law and indicate some classic
concepts of law. Then, law science was contextualized as a social science. After that, this article
indicate the classical issues about the classification of Law respecting public law and private law
dichotomy. Then, some doctrinal discussions were presented on the relative autonomy of the
branches of law and the theory of legal microsystem. At the end it is presented the conclusion in
the sense that the Sports Law is not autonomous branch of law, but a legal microsystem.
