Abstract

The escalation of tension between two of the three Powers of the Republic creates a favorable environment for presuppositions that there is, on the part of the parliament, the configuration of a system of government different from that provided for in the Federal Constitution in force in the country. In order to elucidate this issue, the present work intends to analyze the hypothesis of the existence of an informal parliamentary system in Brazil, during the government of President Jair Bolsonaro, using the bibliographic reference of the main scholars on the subject in contrast to the news that circulates in the country within that period, in order to reach the conclusion of the factual reality of a white parliamentary system in the country.
