This work aims to analyze and identify the planning of the hotel chain in Belo Hor izonte, after major sporting events (World Cup 2014 and 2016 Olympics), to identify if signifi cant changes occurred in the preparation of events. A multiple case study is considered, with six hotels surveyed (three references in the mining market and three new entrants). For the identi f ication of the strategies adopted by them, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the managers of the hotel chains.
