Abstract

The Law of Silence No. 9.505/08, was created with the intention of preserving the peace of the residents of the city of Belo Horizonte, whether during work, rest and especially during sleep, this law is often disregarded by bars, nightclubs and churches, causing great inconvenience to residents living near these areas, and now a bill passed in the City Council seeks to slow down the decibel levels that are allowed at certain times. Throughout this article we will discuss several points of the Law of Silence and the modifications it may suffer.
