The management of indicators is essential to encourage decision-making, which is why it is necessary to align maintenance planning and control for correct involvement in the process. If there is awareness, we then have an important weapon to achieve the indicators within the desired productivity. This productivity involves a fleet managed in order to observe preventive and corrective maintenance needs, stoppage schedules, identification of the causes and effects of stops, thus tracing the useful life of the asset. The values considered ideal for fleet indicators follow a standard, but may vary from organization to organization. The fact is that if this data is processed, it is possible to obtain tangible and intangible gains in the context of maintenance. With the analyzes carried out and the involvement of management, it was possible to collect improvements in indicators in general and a reduction in costs in the long term.
