To carry out this work, the qualitative research strategy was used. Regarding the research strategy, documental research was used as a form of investigation, as it used literary review to achieve its objectives. As a universe of achievement of this article, it was limited to seeking to reach the micro-entrepreneurs of the city of Bom Jesus do Amparo in Minas Gerais. Finally, this research finds limitations in terms of the number of concepts. Because it is a broad subject that has several concepts to be explored, it was limited to presenting these micro-entrepreneurs with only four concepts: cash flow, strategic planning, pricing and working capital. In view of the data collected from the Micro Entrepreneurs in the city of Bom Jesus do Amparo, it is concluded that the uses of basic financial management tools are essential, as they will allow the company to make rational decisions regarding the availability of its resources.
