This study aims to analyze the challenges in implementing the new Anti feminicide Package law (Law No. 14,994/2024) into the legal system. This law removed feminicide from the list of qualifiers for the crime of homicide, making it an independent crime with harsher penalties. Domestic and family violence against women is a structural phenomenon, stemming from patriarchy, and which has affected both women and society for centuries. Given this scenario, the legislator included legal norms in the legal system to combat this harm. Laws such as Maria da Penha (Law No. 11,340/2006) and the Feminicide Law (Law No. 13,104/15) represent a strengthening in the fight against domestic and gender-based violence against women. However, even with the implementation of such legal mechanisms, feminicide still remains a social problem. In this way, it will be possible to verify, through research, the struggle for the recognition of women as subjects of rights, as postulated by the Federal Constitution, which has fundamental principles of human rights and female citizenship.
